Project Profile - Morgan County Courthouse Reroof - Madison, Georgia

This project, with a contract value close to $500,000 required not only absolute care to avoid damage to the interior and exterior of the century old building, but attention to detail.

Many of the original decorative sheetmetal shapes were beyond repair, and had to be fabricated using solid zinc as well as some Terne coated sheetmetal. Since the only working access to the top of the clock tower being by scaffolding, it was mandatory that all repairs be done to last another century.

A modified-bitumen membrane roofing system was installed on the low-slope portion of the roof. This system has a 30 year manufacturer's No Dollar Limit warranty against all failures in workmanship and materials.
